Tonight will be a long night 🌙 not easy to go to sleep when our Jewish homeland is being heartlessly attacked. I feel out of my mind with anger, fear, disgust. Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱 🔯🌈

Love you so much Eve - I wish I were as eloquent as you and could better express my deep and undying gratitude to you for literally saving me from completely giving up hope (I often think of Stephen Zweig and his wife’s double suicide these days). At least that’s one benefit of modern technology, we can draw strength from writers like you who can speak to your devoted followers all over the world. You are such a blessing to us all and I’m so so so eternally grateful to you.

Beautifully written. The highlight for me is calling out the NYT which has contributed enormously to the growth of antisemitism, just as has most of the world’s media. The Free Press , in comparison, is a beacon shining truth across the lies and the ignorance of history. Silence is just as powerful as overt bigotry. As we have seen in the last four days. Go Israel. Do not give up until you are all safe and Iranians free of this mediaeval scourge.

President Trump must take out the underground nuke facilities with the 30K pound bunker buster bombs. FDR didn't bomb Aushwitz, to his eternal shame. A disgrace. These Iranian nuclear bomb factories are Aushwitz 2.0 and must be destroyed.

While there are a lot of things that bother me about President Trump. So grateful he won the election.

With the other party in power, Israel would have been even more isolated and vulnerable.

They say we get the leaders we deserve. I’ve been thinking it’s a sign we really need to work on ourselves if our potential deliverance is coming via the likes of Trump and Bibi

Well, during these complicated, trying and tiring days, and taking my cues from Rachel Goldberg-Polin (mother of murdered hostage Hersh, z”tl), my thoughts have led me to try throughout my day to decide what to do based on “Does it help someone- such as who might need cheering up?” Or “Is it kind?” Sometimes it even works

Another great article. Interesting that my first experience of online antisemitism was on the NYT comments section around 25 years ago. In those days there was a clear distinction between right and left wing antisemitism but today it has mutated and crossed over into one big virus.

I thought that after 20+ months of relentless Israel- and Jew-hatred, I'd seen everything, but the sight of useless idiots in the West protesting FOR the genocidal, misogynistic Iranian Mullahs somehow still shocked me. People really do hate us that much.

As for the NY Times, it can spare me its crocodile tears. As you noted, it plays no small part in the insane levels of Jew-hatred out there, though to be fair it has a lot of company out there in CNN, the BBC, Reuters, AP, the Washington Post, MSNBC, the LA Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Philadelphia Inquirer, etc., etc., etc....................

I've long pointed out to many Israel-bashers that they can't comprehend the difference between Israel and jihadists, until they consider how Israel has bomb shelters within running distance, in every city, plus safe rooms in every house, while Gaza is honeycombed with terror tunnels. They refuse to get it.

So glad you are capturing all of this, Eve. You’re able to express with many of us are feeling so clearly. The comments on the New York Times op-ed were mostly disgusting. FWIW, I tried to leave a comment there and it never made it through. I don’t think there was anything in it objectionable, which also makes me wonder how they are actually moderating comments on their site.
