I respectfully disagree with you and agree with the unnamed Rabbi--you ARE a hero! Speaking up for Israel is not exactly popular these days, and you do it proudly, unequivocally and unabashedly. Yes, you are indeed a hero. Truly.
OK! YOU ARE A HERO!!!!! and for all those thoughtless and reckless and nasty haters who "spit on your name" i think all of your followers would agree F THEM! AM YISRAEL CHAI of course. you are doing the bold work that many of wish we had such a voice to do. or we do in smaller arenas. but you are out there.. leading a charge.....you're polished, smart, sassy and spot on every single time! keep it going, Eve, keep it going. many of us you know from when your followers were only in the hundreds...and look at you now! you are a leader!
I've followed you on Twitter and then Instagram for a while. Until now I was a free subscriber, but this post today is so moving, so powerful, so true that I need to support you in what you do. I am delighted to do so. Thank you for speaking out against the haters. Keep on doing what you are doing. It is courageous indeed. Am Yisrael Chai!
Stirring words. The courage to admit "unknowing" is astonishingly rare. Whenever I hear someone say "I don't know" it immediately confers greater credibility on everything else they say.I'm proud to be a fellow Jew!

Your words really resonated with me today. In the face of extreme adversity, you still manage to show up every day and share your voice, your passion, and the strength of your values. Your activism is nothing short of courageous, and deeply needed in this day and age. I greatly admire the unwavering commitment you have shown to the defense of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Your activism has made me realize that I need to do more as an advocate for our people. Thank you for all that you do!
There's a book to be written about the long history of Jews just wanting to be accepted and loved by you-name-it society/group, and the various tactics of ideological compromise, self-denial, self-debasement all the way to betrayal of their fellow Jew they may adopt in their usually abortive mission. And then there's the likes of you, Eve - thank you for your fortitude, moral clarity and leadership.
Courage is admitting that in this world there are both men and women, that sometimes they get along and sometimes don't. Courage, for me, admitting that I am a man and that I have a friend who is not, and that she is not a they, but a her. And she does not have to identify me as a they, but as a him. And neither of us is bothered by the assertion that each has a single identity that is not a plural, nor is either' identity a source of discomfort to the other. I dare to refer to her as she to anyone I happen to speak to. And she dare to refer to me as he to anyone the speaks to.
Neither thinks it necessary to deny the other's sexual identity, whether I am speaking to a male or to a female, or to two or more others being male or female, whether any of them was born a different sex than that to which they identify themselves as being. And, lastly, neither is confused as to which sex we are, and neither wishes the other had been different. How can one have courage if one cannot be and speak honestly--and coherently.
