It's really dehumanizing that many of my followers only want me to talk about how Jew hate is dehumanizing. I went to Los Angeles for a day this week to do a speaking engagement for a JNF women's lunch, I found myself briefly back in the mold of Israel advocacy, which is some of the most important work I've been able to do in my 35 years. But it has been hard these past few months. It's been hard meddling with people who wanted me to speak for them and who no longer want me to say
"they hate anyone who stands up for it. Especially women." This is so painfully true, and the fact that you continue to stand up and refuse to back down just makes people even madder I think. Like how dare this WOMAN not give in, GET HER. The casual misogyny in the conversation/coverage of the trial has been shocking to me, particularly from those who would otherwise be shouting their "support woman" bonafides, seems to go out the window pretty fast when the guy was in that movie they liked.
Beyond the sensationalized either or polarity of the reporting I know little about the nuts and bolts history or the actual on the ground reality of Israel today. I of course abhor the violence on both sides of the conflict. I'd like there to be an Israel but I'd also like both Palestinians and Jews to have a peaceful future. The capture of social discourse by MSM/Marxist "woke"/ corporate finance and its one size fits all attempt to force Americans to see everything through a distorted politicized often for profit lens, as in Israel, prevents the national dialogue necessary to put solutions on the table. It serves as a cover for bad social and financial policy and lets those responsible for the violence off the hook. Consequentially, nothing changes. Bad actors continue to get funding and everyday people live their lives in the blowback. For profit players in America stuff their pockets and provide cover for totalitarian finance by exploiting the death of individual black men while preventing discussion of the thousands of yearly black on black murders occurring as the result of a gutted and disintegrating social fabric. As in Israel, the violence touches us all, but the finger on the trigger is camouflaged.
Misogyny/misandry is another one size fits all polarized for profit hysteria that twists reality and destroys both sides to the advantage of for profit players. Support of either sex precludes the ability to support the other. Red meat/psyop/ D.C./MSM/BigTech blather pretends allegiance but exploits the "trans" issue for its own ends. That it attempts to silence speech while fear mongering citizenship and parenthood in the face of five decades of failed economic and social policy is the sign of how desperate it is. Exploitation of the trans/gay community by Marxist "woke" ideologues and its funding by corporate totalitarian finance is as alway a cover up for bad social policy. No one cares what people do in their private lives sexually or otherwise. Why is it that family loving individuals and heterosexuals, the vast majority of people, are red deviled by less than 5% of the population. Both America and the Israel deserve a national dialogue that includes everyone.
Art can be entertaining but art is not entertainment. The capitalist capture, financial exploitation and conflation of art and entertainment in America, and now attempts by Marxist "woke" to once again reduce it to propaganda is an impoverishment civilization may not survive. Art propels, honors and expands human consciousness while magnifying, defining and revealing the transcendent in the experience of human life. It is a direct connection to the eternal and a mirror of the divine within the individual. Art has always been a threat to tyrants and the list of those silenced, disappeared or outright murdered as a result of their commitment to it continues. Life devours ten Van Gogh's everyday before breakfast and and always, an artist's children will starve. Great art both reflects and transcends sex, culture and ethnicity. It deserves a voice in both the World and the American national dialogue. I'm looking forward.
NTIM, but I’m a happily married heterosexual male w/ an 11-yr-old daughter (6th grader) who means the world to me. She just took a sucker punch from a male classmate who falsely accused her of stealing his phone (she has her own). No one should have to tell that punk that hitting girls is off limits. I’m teaching her martial arts so she can defend herself in the future. Eve, I mention this because I honestly think the world of you and your outstanding work - so I’d sleep a lot better knowing you’re in a position to be able to take care of yourself & defend yourself against crazy extremists. May I strongly recommend getting a ccw & firearms training to protect yourself?
