Hooray Eve! Pride Parade is July 12 in our small city. (I am still annoyed that the word “Gay” has been dropped—after all WE started this parade!) So we will see what happens. Our synagogue will be represented. Two years ago, the parade was stopped by a march of Pro-Palestinian activists that still occurs here every Saturday. After discussions which included the police, the parade continued.

QfP.....they quite willingly wave their flags in support of a regime that throws people from rooftops for being gay! Hyprocritical morons, can they not become lemmings?

I remember spending a very uncomfortable but kinda cool night on an overnight train from Vienna to Krakow. Yeah, we did Auschwitz. Is that where you are headed? It struck me as very odd and creepy how those same train tracks hadn’t been replaced (assumedly). It was very sobering journey. Hope your trip goes as planned and keep safe please x

Thank you, Eve for your moving tribute and acknowledgement to the not so distant past. My shock and horror still resonates from last years San Francisco's Gay Pride Parade. The 'Dykes on Bikes' leads/begins the parade. My disgust was their banner-BIG AND BOLD IN FRONT-for the PRESS and tv audience around the world to see TRASHING ISRAEL. In all my many Jewish Lesbian years of attending that parade, I have never witnessed a spectacle so disgusting, prior to their stunt. I hope there won't be a repeat of this travesty. Be safe Eve, have a good time. Again, thank you for your service to the world.

For all the people you champion in your advocacy work, keep the candle burning Eve Barlow. You have a great many supporters that appreciate what you do in their own little way.

Good luck Eve. I hope you can relax and have a good time.

Poland is a strange one. As a Catholic I love its churches and traditions but whenever I visit I remember that it was a hotbed of anti- semitism in the 20th century.

It might well be today but at least it doesn't have the constant parades of ' Palestine' activists ruining everyone's everyday lives. Is there a country in Europe I could retire to in the knowledge that there wont soon be regular Jew - hating marches ?(let's be honest- thats what they are )

As for Pride , in the UK i detect that there is a backlash from ' ordinary' people and of course the new religious fundamentalists' The Gays for Palestine crowd dont realise they have a fight on their hands and are stupid enough to think its against Israel.

Stay safe Eve. Best wishes

"Queers for Palestine " is the absolute worst oxymoron imaginable! To avoid repeting myself, I refer to those holding that banner as cretins, imbeciles... you get the idea. Celebration of Pride Week in those countries is tossing gays off tall buildings to hear the Splat as they land! I normally temper my remarks, however: What a bunch of Fucking Idiots!!
