Thank you for writing about this. I have known about her and frankly in my lifetime I have seen just about every woman who has exposed rape to be pilloried, except of course the ones who were raped by Jews (e.g., Weinstein, Epstein, etc.) What can we do to support her better?

I want to take this opportunity to point out that in the US, which thinks it is so advanced, we still have a number of states that allow marital rape, see https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/marital-rape-states. Let me define rape here. Rape is an effort to dehumanize a person by physically demonstrating that they can be violated at their deepest core and there is nothing they can do about it. It is an effort to establish hegemony and to obliterate. Rape apologists poo-poo it as women complaining about disappointing sex, or sex they didn't want to admit they wanted. Some people who have romantic, bodice-ripper rape fantasies imagine it is that someone wanted you so badly they couldn't control themselves. This is not rape. Rape is physical and emotional violence so deep it is inside, and rape is forever. The body remembers. The worst rapes are by people you trust, because it takes a very long time and a lot of work to ever be able to trust again.

Many years ago in a newspaper I read a young man's take on being raped in prison; he said (and I paraphrase because I don't have the newspaper and would never be able to find the quote) — he said, "It made me feel he could do anything he wanted to me. It made me feel like a woman."

Now, let me speak up here for men. In my life, I have only been raped by one man. Not all men rape. But too many men do.

So when feminists have the temerity to doubt the October 7 rapes that were actually filmed, they undermine all feminist credibility. When feminists abandoned the #womenlifefreedom Iranian women to the violence of their government, they undermined all feminist credibility. When feminists abandon Gisele Pericot, they undermine all feminist credibility.

The world needs the contributions of women. The world will never find balance without the intellectual contributions of women. It is not OK that we be reduced to bodies that can be treated any way with impunity. It is not OK for us to be shut up, and it is definitely not OK for women to silence each other, especially when they've been abused. Feminists now do a lot of silencing of other women. I don't recognize them as feminists. I think they're fascists.

As to you, Eve, God love you for your courage in hanging in there with all the online harassment and threats. I think you're ravishing, and I think that every time I see a photo of you. I would love to paint you, you are my idea of a badass female ideal. The reason why all those guys abuse you online is because your strength really threatens them. But you know that. They come at you because they're weak and pathetic. Real men love strong women. It's the boys who never grew up and never will who can't deal with you.

Please excuse me, please don´t get me wrong - but allow me to remark that Gisèle Pelicot is so popular and is so "admired" because she feeds a general mood "in the West" that the West is "a colonialist, racist anti-culture dominated by men" that one must defend oneself against and destroy.

Which of course sadly isn´t all wrong, but it gets wrong when in all seriousness, members and supporters of the Arab-Muslim "culture", the millennia-long and unbroken largest slave trading and colonialism "culture" in world history, are apostrophized as "oppressed" and "colonized" who must "defend themselves" against "the West".

While nations of the "West" only participated for a few centuries in long-before-standing slave trading structures that African („oppressed Black“) Rulers themselves had installed and operated with Muslims/Arabs, and "the West" then abolished and banned slavery, this slave/master obedience oppression "culture" exists unbroken in the Arab-Muslim world; there has never been a break with it, no "coming to terms with the past", no uprisings of "the people" against their (clerical/male) oppressors.

What is nowadays called "Palestinians" are indigenous inhabitants of the area that was previously named "Palestine“ by Roman, Greek, Turkish, British, French conquerors and was multi-cultural ("diverse"), and only lately *colonized* by Arabs/Muslims, but Jews, who have always lived there - for thousands of years - and who were previously also called "Palestinians" from the outside „Western World", have always rejected this colonialist term "Palestine".

Arabs/Muslims, on the other hand, have seriously adopted this colonialist label for themselves: precisely because they are colonialists, tyrants themselves.

But "the West" would rather cultivate its "guilt feelings", its self-hatred, and seriously believes the greatest colonialists in world history for their false fabricated fake twisted story - that is why Pelicot is being celebrated, and Amit Soussana gets insulted, abused, and devalued not „only“ by „unteachable“ men but also a frightening number of women who compulsively and distortedly believe themselves to be on the "right" side of the supposedly "good" and „oppressed“, while really they´re just a pitiful example of (in-)human dumbness.

Sexual violence is a two way street. Rape and violation of the feminine? The creation of strong capable women thriving in a culture of empowered safety? Then stand for the creation of strong capable and empowered men. The psychic butchery of the six decade "why can't we just kill men" war on boys, men and family that produced the current generation of blue haired only fans perpetual children, and the passive-aggressive violence that feeds it, is directly traceable to the lesbian feminism of the 60's that couldn't wait to sell itself to the objectifying corporate sterility that made its leaders rich. Feminist complicity in the creation of the emotionally crippling corporate psyop now stripping both men and women of the spiritual, historical, mythological connection necessary for the survival of culture and freedom, the open war on free speech itself, the cancellation and destruction of lives for thought crimes, are all byproducts of the war on the so called "patriarchy". It is in fact the willing front for the classist dreams of monarchy attempting to dismantle the American Republic and enslave free peoples across the globe. Stand bravely in the face of physical assault and sexual violence? Then remove the smirk from the collective face and seek out and lament the male victims of forced prostitution and the wink and nod at prison rape. Or, the Black Card wielding Wall Street party boys and girls who exploit the enslaved women who have fled Eastern Europe for a "better life" in the West.

The dehumanization and reduction of men AND WOMEN to a state of interchangeable thingdom. The capture and distortion of culture and the ball gag surveillance and repression of a healthy national conversation. Gang rape and violence perped by the valueless emotionally, spiritually crippled and ignorant. The ability to love and empathize at all, is the difference between the masochistic minions of the slaver and the living breathing human being. Depart the psyop and live.

I think you took a wrong turn somewhere. Men who abuse women - verbally, physically, sexually - count on the associated shame and fear keeping women silent. This allows them to continue their abuse without repercussions. The great admiration we have for Gisele Pelicot is that she is telling the true story of her experience. Like Amit Soussana, and Sarah Idan and Eve Barlow. And their words also allow our experiences to be voiced.

That was not the content of my comment, as it was about the question why Amit Soussana or Eve Barlow don“ t get treated and appreciated just the same as Pelicot.

I could say a million things but AOC on that asshole's twitch stream really gets me. She "represents" thousands of Jewish women like me who have the misfortune of living in her district. She got primaried this year and I was really hopeful but she's beloved because she's a know-nothing antisemite like so many of her constituents.

Eve you took my breath away with your clarity and honesty. I knew of the French case and am amazed at Ms. Pelicot’s strength in being willing to testify in the open. I applaud the courage and strength of all victims who are willing to testify. I understand why many will not. The grilling and humiliation they face is enormous. The fact that Jewish victims face an even heavier burden of proof just makes the process painful beyond belief for those victims. It does not surprise those of us who are realists. Jews are expendable, not trusted and easy targets — hell we probably asked for it. Attempts to shut those who are trying to bring attention to the problem are going to be targets— you, because you are shining light on a problem that they don’t want to admit exists. Until the day comes that rape is treated seriously and women are taken at their word this “prove it, you whore” standard of justice will remain and rape will be considered a legitimate weapon of control.

I saw this Hasan clown on Piers Morgan a while back; it's the first I ever saw of him. Why Morgan insists on putting cretins like this on his show is another question, but I guess nothing's more important to him than ratings. This Hasan termite made a complete idiot out of himself--screaming, cursing repeatedly, insulting, never remotely making a coherent point. He's just a sick, sad, pathetic human being who can't make a living any other way than gathering followers among the garbage of the world. No wonder he's prominent in the "Free Palestine" movement. Sorry you have to deal with demented, misogynistic, Jew-hating trash like him.

You are spectacular, Eve . Hasan Piker knows this too; otherwise he wouldn’t spend time attacking you.

I always think that men like him have such tiny dicks that they are making up for it. 1 inch maybe 2.

I just learned of Gisele Pericot. I am so taken by the US elections that I had no idea. Horrible ordeal. I do know of the plight of Israeli Women and what they endured, and what some of them still endure in captivity in the general indifference of a sick world that has declared that "rape is resistance" when it doesn't outright deny that rape took and takes place. By the "believe all women" crowd, no less.
