“We haven’t left the Democrats, the Democrats have left us,” said many wiser than me. And yet, the bombardment from the MSM clearly shows total lack of self awareness as they continue to double down on what failed them. Their nonstop vitriol is in full display.

The Dutch police disgraced the uniform last night. Except for a few righteous Gentiles, the Dutch like most of Europe did little to nothing to save the Jews during WWII. After the depravity of the Holocaust became fully known and publicized there was a certain amount of shame more than guilt, and so now they have imported their Jew haters from various third world Muslim nations. Just as Mexicans and Latin American immigrants perform much of the landscaping and other manual labor in America, the Muslim immigrants and children of immigrants perform much of the Jew hating in Europe.

Their disgraceful behavior is not an accident. It is a feature. On call me back podcast. Ayana Hirsi Ali who lived in Netherlands for years and had to flee described part of the Islamic plot, is to infiltrate police and security departments.

Thank you. I voted for Bernie in the last primary - knowing he was terrible for Israel - but not realizing it would matter. This time when friends heard I was voting for Trump many wanted to know more. I then had friends in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Manhattan thanking me for being the impetus for them to do some research. And voting Republican for the first time in their lives.

Regarding the main street media. I read a masterful statement on another site:

"They didn't speak truth to power. They hid truth for power."

Truer words were never spoken.

Every time I think I couldn’t find you any braver you write something that shows me how wrong I am. I am ideologically VERY far left but as a Jew and a human being I have definitely felt politically orphaned for a long time in the US. I value when and how much you encourage me to challenge my views, but I am also often heartened by how much you say what I’ve been thinking. When I post similar thoughts on social media it often gets very little engagement or it gets arguing. I don’t think most on the left are ready to hear this message, but I find that very frustrating because it’s a message we needed to start hearing years ago.

It is unlikely that many of those who voted for Trump should not mind if someone has a criminal record for sexual assault and fraud of an extraordinary amount, and more of this.

They still voted for the guy for other reasons.

It is also unlikely that everyone who did not vote for the "Democrats" should therefore be against so-called "Palestinians", misguided parts of "woke" people or Rashida Tlaib, and for the Jews´and Israel's unconditional right to self-determination and -defense.

Democracy is somewhat more "complicated".

Important, but also somewhat "strange" is this, that yesterday a German Court has decided that "From the River to the Sea, P*lestine will be free" is a "Terrorist statement" in itself without a doubt, no matter where and "why" it gets yelled. - Nice to know, but not so nice is that a Justice Court seems to be needed to make clear something obvious as that (http://www.morgenpost.de/berlin/article407641294/from-the-river-to-the-sea-gericht-faellt-bedeutendes-urteil.html).

Eve, thank you for writing from your heart and forgiving me something thoughtful that I can send to my Democrat Zionist friends who are so distraught about the election results.

I applaud your optimism Eve but the left has embedded antisemitism in its core beliefs. It will take another generation to rid us of this scourge. At least.

Just read Nancy Pelosi’s interview in the NYT today. Head in the sand. It’s the fault of the voters not the DP.

The DP needs fresh blood and a new take on old ideas.

I don’t know if I fit in with this (Eve’s) group, being a Canadian, non-Jew. I care very much about peace in our world and was shocked at the US election results. But I want to be hopeful. Trump’s speech gave me a glimmer of hope for my neighbors in the next four years. He didn’t do his usual put-downs and nasty remarks. He’s still a liar and a rapist and a vile human being in my opinion. I like to think positive and give him the benefit of the doubt that he can be and do better this time. That he can change for the better? That’s my ultimate hope for the world. Eve’s positivity has to be contagious. There is no other choice…🇺🇸

Eve, thank you for writing this beautiful piece. Time to focus on the fight against Jew hatred, antisemitism, and anti-Zionism in this country and abroad. You have demonstrated through your words and Deeds, that one can survive when you stand up for what you know is right.

Time to stop the baseless accusations against the duly elected President and those of us that voted for him.

I don’t agree that Trump-supporting antisemites are better than Harris supporting antisemites. Yes, the left went crazy on identity politics to the detriment of mist americans. But the Proud Boys are not our friends. We will watch the daisy chain of tuchis lechers, from Bibi to Trump to Putin, engage in behavior that benefits them personally and not the citizens of their countries.

Meanwhile, Americans will face very real threats, from the economy to healthcare to real racism tear down a century of progress.

The actions of Biden/Harris have been good for Israel (much better than the rhetoric). I am afraid that the amoral and feckless Trump will follow the money whether he gets it from Russia or Iran.

Sorry where did you read me saying that antisemites are better on one side than the other? This piece isn’t about Jews. It’s about Americans. I have received death threats from both sides of the horseshoe for years.

You wrote that Americans rejected hate. Since Tlaib and AOC were re-elected, it seems you were not writing of them, but of the presidency. Trump is the greatest hatemonger elected in my lifetime. He personally does not espouse antisemitism but many of his followers do. He encouraged his proud boy supporters who are, and called the “Jews will not replace us” marchers “very fine people.” If opposing Israel becomes in his financial interest he will walk away in a heartbeat. This election was emphatically NOT a rejection of hate, but an embrace of it at a national level by half of American voters

I don’t believe so. And for whatever it’s worth I have personally been hunted and harassed by Proud Boys. I believe this election was decided on ideas, as I wrote. Economy. Immigration. Being the two main issues.

Well, you wrote it, so i cannot argue the meaning with you! But I was responding to my interpretation. Speaking from my own perspective, if Trump does what he says he will do, the likely result is disaster for the US. Is that what his voters expect? BTW, I do NOT think Trump is an antisemite. I DO think he is a solipsist. .

Please, watch the full video of Trump’s comments regarding the “very fine people” line. The media chopped it up to sway people like yourself. Trump brought more peace to the Middle East and to Israel than all of his predecessors through the Abraham Accords and he moved the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

I have watched it. And i remember when it happened in real time, too. I

also remember his "stand back and stand by" comment. He is a shit stirrer of the first order who only cares about himself. If he gets a better offer from the devil he will stop hawking Trump bibles.

The actions of Biden/Harris have been horrible for Israel and for the Jews in America. They did nothing to stop the raging and violent antisemitism on college campuses. They bought into all of the traps Hamas set for Israel, constantly telling Israel it has to do better when it has the best combatant to civilian ratio of any army in the world. They are totally beholden to the woke progressives and that it why they lost.

I grew up in the Soviet Union and I have been feeling for years now that the Western Left has been moving closer and closer to the Soviet ideology. The oppressor vs the oppressed. The intolerance of any dissent. It's honestly terrifying.
