Insightful, inspiring and healing words Eve.

Needed to read something that reflected where I’m at and it’s this. As a musician myself, I’m touched by your experiences and the two brave woman who shared of themselves through their music. Powerful.

We will make music and dance and laugh….again. 💙🇮🇱💙

This is why we cannot be beholden to any court of public opinion or “international community”. They have been completely corrupted and we must do whatever we please to survive… I now understand better how my father felt, when he was liberated from Buchenwald and still chose to board the Altalena, and float on a barrel onto the shore with a Leica camera around his neck and fight in the Irgun. Fuck them all, let’s roll…

Eve, as usual I was deeply moved by your words and by your actions. Given your background 'Braveheart" springs to mind.

But you lost me when it came to your comment on Gentiles.

I immediately felt excluded.

Please understand that revulsion and outrage is not yours alone. We Gentiles feel it too and many of us have reached out to our Jewish friends especially at this terrible anniversary when so many of the hostages have still not been released. We have your back. We will always support Israel and its right to exist. You are not alone in this fight.

I'm not addressing our friends, but the self-professed "morally righteous" who are policing us on October 7 of all days. Our gratitude to our non-Jewish allies is forever acknowledged by us, and you will never know the depths of what it has meant.

MQ, thank you for seeing the right from the wrong and thank you for your support. We expect support from our Jewish community, that we often don’t get, but are overly grateful for the support from non Jews who understand our journey. It would be much easier to ignore us but you don’t. You risk much supporting us. It does not go unnoticed. I appreciate you.

Every time you write, you spread balm over my cuts.

You are right of course. The gift of the 10/7 massacre was clarity. It told all our false friends they didn't have to pretend anymore, didn't have to tolerate anymore, that they could channel all their life's disappointments and angers and envy at us and the world would applaud. And they are the weaker for it, because if you project and deflect and don't address your problems, they fester. But us Jews, it brought us together, it made us stronger, we realized assimilation does not work, that we only have each other — and a few righteous gentiles here and there, who we should never take for granted, but always assume they are the exception and not the norm. We should have learned from the Dreyfus Affair, *I* should have learned from the Dreyfus Affair, but no, we get comfortable, we think we can relax, and every Jewish generation has to learn the hard way, no, we can never relax.

The long-term stress takes a toll on our bodies. We tend to have hyper histamine reactions. Autoimmune problems. Bowel problems. And all the processes that stress mucks up in the body. These are first chakra issues, all about survival. It takes a toll, living in a world that wants to wipe us out. Hoping to be tolerated. Hoping to be left alone. Hoping against hope.

So Eve. Thank you. I used to be a political artist, I used to try to sway the enemy, I used to think there was little benefit to giving heart to the choir. I was wrong. I'm not sure it's possible to sway the enemy, particularly if they know that's what you're trying to do. But it is very possible to give heart to the choir, and your posts — and how they make me feel — show me that giving heart to the choir is vital to keeping that choir going. Thank you, Eve. Community matters. You remind us of the strength of our community and the strength that we gain from community.

Beautiful words Eve. The songs from those amazing girls were so moving. My love and support of the Jewish people has only grown stronger since last year. You are a special people and strong survivors, and I can only feel sorry for those who can’t see it.

I’m a lowly gentile, but I love and pray for Israel. Your writing is so powerfully moving, and I appreciate it with all my heart.

Eve, again you give us the gift of sharing your journey from October 7th 2023 until today, raw, honest and courageous. You give words, shape, support and clarity for all of us who are on our own version of the same journey. As a musician, I join you in your call for the power of the human voice in harmony as a vibrating symbol of the promise, strength, joy, resilience and heart of the Jewish people - and through us the whole of humanity (at least those that want to truly participate in humanity).

May Ha-Shem bless you and keep you. Am Yisrael Chai.

You speak truth to power. Thank you. As to your summary of the absurd response to what is happening I say DAYENU. Your October 7 gathering is a tribute to your ability to hold steadfast to goodness. I wish I’d been there

It's a good thing we Jews are only required to atone for our sins, not those of antisemites, or Yom Kippur would have to last a week. L'shana tova.
