Yesterday on Twitter – or as I like to call it World War Three Dot Com - the phrase “Anne Frank” was trending. And no it wasn't a good thing. Anne Frank was trending because tweets were going viral – woke tweets – talking about Anne Frank's “white privilege”. Anne Frank, the young woman who wrote a famous diary and was murdered by the Nazis in a concentration camp during the Holocaust, has now been posthumously granted “white privilege”. What did she have white privilege to exactly? Living in an attic in secret? Having access to a pen? Being, uh, literate enough to leave a documentation of what European Jews faced in the 1930s and '40s? I'm sorry I must have bumped my head. Straight to the mark with her usual unerring accuracy. I am minded of something I just read in former NYT journalist Bari Weiss' recent address to the students at the University of Texas at Austin: "Cowardice is contagious. But so is courage". Well, Eve Barlow has guts and courage in spades. Keep on telling the truth, Eve! You rock! The example of pointing out the fallacies and fearlessly telling the truth despite the cost and personal hurt when one is rejected, dropped, left out, belittled, ostracised and slandered for it is an inspiration. I hope I shall have similar spine if ever called to say what is true and defend what is right.
Moral consistency is inconsistent with progressive values - plain and simple and they readily admit it. The problem for us Jews is that our mainstream / traditional leadership (URJ under Rick Jacobs, ADL under Greenblatt) and many others have forgotten our history , our responsibility to our fellow Jews and due to a combination of ignorance , wanting to fit in with the woke crowd , etc bought into the various critical theories hook, line and sink . Heck, my former Synagogue had a lesson plan for 12 year olds on Ashkenazi , Jewish privilege and that was 7 years ago!!
Our leadership has failed us - they failed to recognize the important difference between todays progressive movement and traditional liberalism (and the lessons contained in Torah) .
The path we find ourselves on can be far different than what we had planned. It can suck at times but still is a better place to be than compromised. You are one of the few journalists that remain a journalist, at great personal cost. Respect.
Well, I'm glad Anne Frank was alive to record what was happening to her and I'm glad I learned as a young person of her life . Evil exists, those who murdered Anne Frank were evil, and those who claim today she had some kind of white privilege are evil, too. As well as simply stupid.

This Anne Frank discourse seems to just repeat and recycle every few months on the hellscape of Twitter. Is it just a ruse for engagement? Do they actually believe this? Ugh.

I've never visited Twitter but it seems to be a psychological sewer. Most writers at SUBSTACK and elsewhere describe an experience of encounters with vindictive cancel culture nutcase ideologues or propagandist MSM journalists trolling for knee-jerks and click bait. And, I can't get interested in the emotional ping pong "what's trending" hook. It's so bee hive high school confidential I'm surprised the platform survives. Of course the real time party line surveillance state horror of Twitters willingness to destroy lives while distorting free speech and thought defines it. Rage as a Jew at a platform willing to airbrush Anne Frank and the holocaust is justified. History is a living entity and totalitarians fear it.
Recently Jew's on a number of platforms have expressed concerns about the re-emergence of anti-semitism. Twitter is only part of the larger illness threatening us all. The intentional creation and weaponized manipulation of a mass psychosis by CCP compromised totalitarian finance in its efforts to force the liberty of American individualism into a one size fits all financial feudalism is a replay of the fascist ascent in WWII that destroyed the world. It killed 6,000,00 Jews. It also killed another 6,000,000 of the politically incorrect. The problem with the sorcerers apprentice manipulation of political ideological utopianism, that is, the focused denial and mass projection of individual personal evil upon a scapegoat allows evil to escape the container of the human psyche, cloak itself in light, and manifest itself in the physical world. Everything dies. Including the fools that harnessed it.
Twitter is a boil on the ass of modern human consciousness and reason.
I watched part of 'The Diary of Anne Frank' when I was in junior high in ithe main auditorium around 1979-80 when the 3rd or 4th film reel started messing up and stopped our watching the final conclusion. It would be a few days later then I was informed by one of the teachers that only Frank's father survived those camps. I think there are way too many that forget to realize the Frank family were all human beings that got sent to their deaths with zero reason whatsoever.
We, as a people had a way to go then and-STILL have a long way to go now more than ever...
We are engaged in a war against the enemies of the truth. Enemies whose aim is to destroy the truth and replace it with lies. Lies which have built into them the enslavement of the world and the destruction of those who object.
The target of the enemies of the truth is not just a few groups or belief systems. The target is not even an ever expanding list of groups and belief systems. The target is all of truth. All of freedom. All of life.
If the enemies of the truth win this war, the result will not be the peace of utopia, but the silence of death.
How can the lovers of the truth win this war? The answer is not by being silent and hoping for the best.
Anne Frank as white privilege is so absurd that I am unable to understand it.
