Where are everyone’s eyes now? I guess they don’t have a red alert app on their phone…
In the last 24 hours, Hezbollah have claimed responsibility for eleven attacks against Israel, using high-trajectory fire, anti-tank missiles and suicide UAVs. Raging fires have broken out across Israel’s northern territories in frightening scenes. Homes and farmland are being subjected to uncontrollable wildfire, as Hezbollah is increasing the frequency and devastation of its attacks, and escalating a state of war against Israel from Lebanon. Thousands of acres of land have been torched and firefighters are struggling to get on top of it. 80,000 people have been displaced from this region since October 7. Talk about displacement and ethnic cleansing…
So suddenly everyone’s eyes are blind. Selective eyesight. Selective virtue. Selective outrage. Not that their eyes were even really on Rafah anyway. If they were, then they might have had something to say about the standard fare found underneath a bed in a child’s room:
In other news, the Maldives have declared a permanent ban on anyone travelling with an Israeli passport. The Maldives would like to be Jew free, it seems. I've never really understood the appeal of the Maldives personally. In Scotland we like our beaches freezing with excellent fish 'n' chips. Who needs the Maldives when you've got Largs?
Tragic news from the South yesterday, as four more elderly male hostages were found dead. And after eight months the remains of a presumed hostage - 35-year-old Dolev Yehud - revealed the horrendous news that Dolev in fact died on October 7. Such was the devastation to his body, his family, including his father-in-law who I met with ten days ago in Tel Aviv, presumed he was in captivity in Gaza, along with his sister, who still remains in Gaza. Dolev died fighting off Hamas in kibbutz Nir Oz where he was a first responder. He is survived by his wife and four kids, the youngest of whom was born weeks after the massacre. Dolev’s father-in-law spoke broken English to me, with desperate tears in his eyes, for a son-in-law who was his daughter’s first boyfriend. They’d been together since she was 15.
Here is how Sky News chose to report Dolev’s death:
Dolev did not go “missing”. He was murdered by Hamas.
The north is a developing story. For more information on the war in the north, you can watch the documentary I made with HonestReporting in February. We visit Kiryat Shmona, Dafna, and Metula, the surroundings of which are now enveloped in flames.
Thank you Eve for seeing so clearly what is happening. The North is on fire, 80,000 people displaced from their homes, antisemites run rampant on university campuses and in our cities, the US Administration is AWOL as it tries to appease terror regimes (Iran), and what does the Left do? What it always does: blame the Jews. It is disgraceful and disgusting. We’re at an inflection point and we all need to fight.
The moral compass of what was once the humanist left has been confiscated by the extremists. Thank you Eve Barlow for exposing their totalitarian mindset.
