Eve, you are such an inspiration. My abiding memory of you is the quiet, watchful wee girl with the beautiful eyes, so intelligent and yet giving nothing away of yourself. Now you are giving everything of yourself to fight for truth and understanding. I salute you.

Eve - you write from the heart and head - powerfully and precisely and I've come to great admiration and respect for your talents and generosity. Please come to NY and speak somewhere soon. xo

To you and all those you have steadfastly advocated for, I offer this simple prayer.

"When tyrants tremble sick with fear and hear their death knell ringing, when friends rejoice both far and near, how can I keep from singing?

In prison cell and dungeon vile, our thoughts to them are winging. When friends by shame are undefiled, how can I keep from singing?"

If I wasn’t familiar with your story and work, I might have found the accolades in Jamie Geller’s introduction a bit over the top. But as the moving interview reveals, they are well deserved. And if you can’t have the Kotel, a Chihuly is no slouch as a backup

Yes, Aish has a magnificent view of the Western Wall. It has not been the Wailing Wall since 1967.
